Ms. Dowling’s journey as an artist has taken her from a youth in South Dakota to a thriving career as a singer-songwriter in LA. Along the way she had the chance to sing backup with Bruce Springsteen and wife Patti Scalfia and serve as a bridesmaid for friend and former roommate Demi Moore.

Ms. Dowling’s path to design was influenced by the generous gift of vintage dresses from iconic singer Joni Mitchell in the 90’s. Today, from her home in Connecticut, her aesthetic has taken a form that is romantic, earthy and chic all reflective of her artistic and musical journey. In her own words Ms. Dowling describes her designs as "functional glamour that exudes warmth and a hearty sexiness, inspired by the colors, shapes and shadows of a big blue sky."
